Business and civic leaders support effort to expand advanced manufacturing and data center capacity in Brisbane
BRISBANE, CALIF. (Aug. 28, 2025) — Orchard Partners today announced the Bay Area Council has endorsed the Guadalupe Quarry Redevelopment Project, supporting plans to build an innovative and modern industrial development on a portion of the Guadalupe Quarry property near Brisbane, Calif.

Earlier this summer, Orchard Partners announced updated plans for the Guadalupe Quarry Redevelopment Project. In response to community feedback, Orchard Partners reduced the overall size of the project by 33 percent, while also qualitatively changing proposed uses. The plans propose construction of a mixed-use development, consisting of two industrial buildings totaling 890,000 square feet on separate parcels in the Guadalupe Quarry property. One building is a two-level data center building totaling 180,000 square feet, and the other is a two-level industrial building suitable for a combination of advanced manufacturing, light industrial, assembly and warehousing uses.
The project will set aside 82 acres, permanently conserving approximately 57 percent of the existing quarry property for habitat and environmental preservation. Additionally, the project will make one-time contributions of $1.8 million to fund implementation of the San Bruno Mountain Habitat Conservation Plan and more than $15 million to the City of Brisbane. The project is expected to generate and support more than 1,000 quality jobs and $1.5 million in annual revenue to the City of Brisbane.
